C) - Before starting to work with the machine, carefully read the instructions for use
- Before carrying out any maintenance intervention, stop the machine and read the
instructions manual.

Tipping hazard.
Pay the utmost attention when working on sharp slopes.

Limbs crushing hazard.
In case of maintenance, remove the belt protective
casing only when the machine is switched off in order to avoid hands crushing.
2.3 SAFETY IN THE USE AND MAINTENANCE
- During the maintenance and repair operations, it is compulsory to wear protective
clothes, cut proof gloves and anti-slip and anti smashing shoes.
- Comply with the regulations in force in the Country where the machine is used,
concerning the use and the disposal of the products used for cleaning and main-
tenance. Dispose waste, if any, by means of special companies authorized to the
purpose with the issuance of the receipt of the accomplished disposal.
- It is absolutely forbidden to operate or have the machine operated by someone who
has not read and understood what is written in this manual, as well as by unskilled
personnel, or by personnel with bad health and anyhow by persons less than 18
years old.
- Before starting the machine, check that all the safety protections are in perfect con-
ditions
- Before starting to work for the first time, familiarize with the control devices and their
functions.
- The area where the machine is used shall be considered “dangerous area”, above
all for the persons that are not trained to use it. Before starting the machine, make
sure that there are no persons or animals or obstacles of any kind within the working
area.
- When a person is exposed, i.e. he is in a “dangerous area”, the operator shall imme-
diately intervene in order to stop the machine and move away the captioned person.
- Never leave the machine switched on with the keys on.
- Before any maintenance, make sure that the machine is shutdown and well parked.
- At the end of the maintenance and repair operations, before starting the machine,
make sure that the operations are completed, that the safety devices are on and
that the safety protections have been reassembled.
- The spare parts shall correspond to the needs established by the Manufacturing
Company. Use only original spare parts.
- When one works on yielding grounds, near escarpments, ditches or slopes, operate
with the utmost care and at low speed, in order to avoid the machine tipping over, if
any; it is moreover suggested in these cases, to arrange the load on the lowest part
so to give more stability to the machine.
- In case the machine must be used on raised grounds or near dangerous overhan-
