Use and maintenance instructions:
TRANSPORT
The loading operations may be very dangerous if they are not performed with the ut-
most care.
Before starting the loading operations, therefore, send away the strangers; clear and
limit the transfer area, and check the integrity and the suitability of the available means
of transport.
It is necessary to make sure that the area where the machine is operated is clear and
that there is a sufficient “escape”, that is a free and safe area where one may move
quickly in case the load should fall.
Before loading, check that inside the body of the means of transport there is enough
space to position the machine to be transferred.
The area where the machine is to be loaded, shall be flat in order to avoid load move
-
ments, if any.
- The loading and the unloading operations must always be carried out with the machi-
ne without load.
- Load the machine by operating it by foot, at reduced speed and by paying attention to
correctly enter the ramps and walk on the ramps in a confident way.
Once the machine is transferred onto the means of transport, make sure that it is well
locked in its position.
Securely fixed the machine onto the bed where it is positioned with well tighten ropes
or chains in order to lock any possible movement.
After transporting the machine and before releasing it from all ties, check its conditions
and that the position does not cause any danger.
Then remove ropes and chains and unload it with the same means of transport and
operations used for the load.
