Access point
A relay point to connect to the Internet. By passing an access point using a telephone line,
you can connect to the Internet.

APN [Access Point Name]
String to recognize the Internet service providers or company LAN. For Mopera,
"mopera.ne.jp" is the APN.

bps [bits per second]
Unit to indicate data sending rate. This represents number of bits (data amount) which can
be sent per second.

Caller's number
Caller's phone number. Also referred to as "caller's ID".

Card driver
Software going between a card and the OS when connecting a PC card.

cid [Context Identifier]
Registration number assigned when registering APNs to the FOMA terminal. From 1 to 10
are available for the FOMA terminal.

CSV [Comma Separated Values]
A file form in which data is divided by comma (,). Such data can be edited in text editors.

DNS [Domain Name System]
System to convert a domain name (ex. mopera.ne.jp) to an IP address used in computers.

DTE [Data Terminal Equipment]
Data terminal device such as PCs and PDAs.

Mark to recognize users on a computer network. This is like a name for computers
consisting of alphanumeric characters.

IMT-2000 [International Mobile Telecommunications-2000]
Next-generation mobile phone type to be commonly used worldwide. "2000" has two
meanings; one is that it uses 2GHz band, and the other is that it was planned to be
commercialized in the year of 2000.
