The additional digital inputs and outputs can be used for some control functions.
Fig. 21 shows a suggestion for a proportioning belt scale:

In the diagram shown in fig. 21, a new charge is started by the start key. The
conveyor belt will be stopped automatically when the reference charge value is
reached. It can also be stopped manually by the stop key.
The power part with the wiring diagram for the motors is not shown in fig. 21. The
motor wiring diagram must be designed from the installation designer individually.
Parametrization
For shutting the silo and stopping the conveyor belt, the evaluation electronic unit
has to be told the needed charge weight. This is done by using the parameter
Ref.
charge 1.
The silo will be closed when reaching the parameter
Predetect charge 1
(refer to „8.4 Description of the parameters“).
