BIT test;
The system supports a Built-In-Test (BIT) function. Detected faults are displayed on the
monitor has a two digit code in symbol area 6.
Where more than one fault is detected the codes shall cycle over a 3 second period.
- If a detected fault corrects itself then the code shall be removed after 3 seconds.
- If fault code still displayed, switch off the system and restart after 1 min.
- In general if a fault code is displayed and the system still functions then it is safe
to continue operation of the system.
- Fault codes are not stored in non-volatile memory and will therefore be lost on
cycling power.
- Fault codes should be recorded and reported to maintenance personnel.
