2.4 Service Levels (Line and Base Maintenance)
2.4.1
Trained Operator Level
This is the level of maintenance that a certified Operator can provide on the flight line
and is limited to the following:

Pre-flight check/Daily Inspection
See instructions in Operations section §1.2.1
2.4.3
Trained Technician level
This is the level of maintenance that a certified Technician can provide and is limited to
the following:

System checks every 100h.
The system can be used on condition. To secure functionality on the system we
recommend that the below described check is performed on a regular basis.
Remove turret and;
Clean the TCU per §1.2.2.
Clean the external optical surfaces per §1.2.3.
Remove protection cover Inspect Linear Mount Assembly per § 2.4.6
Inspect Linear Mount Springs per § 2.4.6
Inspect Linear Mount Linkage per § 2.4.6
Inspect Wire Damper § 2.4.6
Inspect Drive Belt (Broken or with visual heavy wear).
2.4.5
Factory Level
The system can be used on condition. To secure functionality on the system we
recommend that the described check is performed on a regular basis. Factory level is
the deepest level of repair and provides support for problems that were not able to be
resolved at Technician level. This level can only be carried out by the supplier’s
personnel at the factory premises.
It is recommended to have a thorough factory level inspection every 12 years
