Mounting the 9-Tube / Cable Casing
Assemblies
The CTP 80BEV includes cable casing
assemblies. One is to house and hold the 9-
Tube Assembly level with the Blending
Assembly. The other Casing is for channeling
the Touch Panel power cord to the back of the
unit and out of the way. A small plastic piece
may be included to channel the switch cable.
The following instructions and illustrations show
a right-side mounting, which is typically the side
with the intake vents on the Taylor 430 model.
However, your freezer may have the intake
vents on the left side; in those cases, install the
Casing on the left side. It is recommended to
install the Casing holding the 9-Tube Assembly
on the
intake
vent side to prevent heating the
syrup tubes. The Touch Panel cable Casing
should be installed on the same side the cable
exits the assembly.
1. Prepare detergent water by mixing several
drops of Dawn
®
dish soap with a gallon of
warm water (108°F / 42°C).
2. The Casing Assembly contains very power
magnets to attach to the side of the freezer.
Simply place the assembly in line with the
Blending Assembly with the hinged surface
down (holding screw at the top). The curved
ends of the Casing should hang over the
front and back of the freezer and the
assembly should be level horizontally.
3. Remove the screw from the top of the
Casing Assembly.
4. Swing the Casing cover outward.
5. Carefully place the 9-Tube Assembly inside
the Casing. If the Blending Motor is on the
same side as the tubes, include the motor
cable in the casing. Pull any excess tubes
and cables to the back of the freezer,
allowing enough slack in the front to
comfortably curve around to the Blending
Assembly.
6. Close the casing, taking care not to pinch
any of the lines.
7. Install the screw to secure the Casing.
