Stainless Steel Female DB9 connector.
Fixed RS232 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 2 stop bits, no flow control.
The data logger can receive at this data rate without flow control.
After asserting the DTR signal, a minimum of 5 seconds must
elapses before the data logger can respond.
In order to minimize power consumption the TXD output is turned
off 30 seconds after the last byte has been sent. When this output
is off, it will be at or near ground unless an external device forces it
to a different level. Software and hardware communicating with the
data logger must be able to deal with the possibility of a transient
when the transmitter is turned on. The data logger will not send the
first byte until the driver has been active for at least one full
character time. The receiver is always active.
