GLOBALSTAR MODEM TELEMETRY
Originally Globalstar modems supplied by FTS were supplied without FTS designed
control boards integrated with the modem. The Globalstar Modem Telemetry option
configures the data logger telemetry port for communication with these older style
FTS supplied Globalstar Modems.
Contact FTS if you are unsure of the configuration of your Globalstar modem.

Once this option is selected, a screen will appear (Figure 12) that requests
confirmation for configuring the telemetry port for use with older FTS Globalstar
Modems which DO NOT have an FTS control board installed with the modem. There
are no parameters required for this configuration.
GLOBALSTAR MODEM WITH GS1 CONTROL BOARD TELEMETRY
Currently Globalstar modems supplied by FTS are supplied with an FTS designed
GS1 control board integrated into the modem. The Globalstar Modem with GS1
Control Board Telemetry option configures the data logger telemetry port for
communication with these FTS supplied Globalstar Modems.

Once this option is selected, a screen will appear (Figure 13) that requests

Modems which have an FTS GS1 control board installed with the modem. There are
