SDI-12
Supports SDI-12 version 1.1.
The data logger provides regulated power to the SDI connector.
62 SDI addresses ( 0 - 9 , A - Z , a - z ) are supported.
An SDI expansion box is available if more than 4 SDI sensors are required.
RAIN
Supports standard FTS tipping bucket Rain gauge.
DATA STORAGE
All storage is in non-volatile memory, so no backup batteries are needed, and data
and program are preserved through power failures. If satellite telemetry is used, the
setups for the satellite interface are also saved and are restored when power is
restored. Password protection can be enabled to limit access to functions such as
clearing memory, etc.

TELEMETRY
The data logger telemetry port is programmable and can be used for various FTS
telemetry products. This RS-232 port has built-in lightning and static protection. The
HDL1 telemetry port is configured through the front panel Computer port. Once the
telemetry port is set to a specific type (i.e. GOES), then it cannot be used for a
different telemetry type without reconfiguring the port. All telemetry settings are
preserved through power failures.
Power (+12 Vdc) for the telemetry device is provided through the HDL1 telemetry
port. Maximum current draw for a connected telemetry device is 4 A.
