CONTROL PANEL:
(Fig. A)
1. On/Off: Press this key to turn the unit on or
off.
2. TEMP/POWER Selection: Press one of these
keys to select between temp [°C] and power
[W].

4. Timer Function: Press this key to set the timer.
5. Lock Function: Press this key to enable the
key-lock; hold it to disable it.
6. [+]/[-] Keys: Press these keys to increase or
decrease power/temp/time.
7. MAX Function: Press this key to set the
cooking zone immediately to maximum
power.
OPERATION
1. Connect the appliance to the power source.
A “Beep” will emit and all the indicators flash
one time. Then the "On/Off" indicator starts
flashing to indicate that the device is in
standby mode.
2. Place a cookware suitable for induction in the
center of the cooking zone.
3. Press the [On/Off] key (1)and the display (3)
will show [ON].
4. Press either the [POWER] or the [TEMP]
selection key (2) to select the desired power-
level or temperature for cooking.
5. Use the [+] or [-] keys (6) to increase or
decrease the power-level/temperature. There
are 10 levels in total:

6. After cooking, turn off the unit by pressing
the [On/Off] key again.
Note:
The built-in fan will continue to run for
about 1 minute to cool the interior of the unit.
USING THE “MAX” FUNCTION:
Press the [MAX] key (7) to set the corresponding
cooking zone immediately to maximum power.
The indicator above the MAX key will light up
and the display will show [2000]. This function
is very useful if you want to boil a pot of water
quickly. You can press one of the following keys
to return to the default startup power setting:
[POWER]/[TEMP] or [MAX] again
Note:
Activating the MAX function always
switches the device to POWER mode, even if it
was previously operated in TEMP mode.
USING THE “TIMER” FUNCTION:
The cooking duration can be set, when the unit
is operating. Press the [Timer] key (4) once to
access the timer function. The Display will flash
and show [00:00] and the “Timer” indicator next
to the display will light up. The time can be
adjusted from 1 minute to 3 hours. Press the [-]
key to set the hours and the [+] key to set the
minutes. After the desired duration has been set,
press the [Timer] key again to confirm or wait
until the display stops flashing. When the timer
countdown reaches 00:00, the appliance beeps
and goes to standby automatically. Hold the
[Timer] key for about 3 sec to cancel the timer at
any time.
USING THE “LOCK” FUNCTION:
Press the [Lock] key (5) once to lock functionality
of all buttons. The Display will show [LOC] and
the “Lock” indicator next to the display will light
up. Hold the [Lock] key for about 3 sec to unlock
again.
Note:
Even if the lock is active, you can still turn
off the unit at any time by pressing the [On/Off]
key.

Suitable cookware:

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Clean the cooking plate after each use. This will
prevent spills from burning onto the ceramic
surface.
1. Before cleaning, unplug and wait until the
appliance has cooled down.
2. Wipe the ceramic glass surface with a damp
cloth.
3. Rub dry with a clean cloth. Remnants of
cleaning agent must not be left on the
surface.
4. Thoroughly clean the entire ceramic glass
cooking surface once a week with a

Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the first time and
keep them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specified in this
manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the
power source, check if the voltage indicated
on the appliance corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance.
• If the appliance is grounded (protection class
I), the wall outlet and any extension to which
it is connected must also be grounded.
• During use, this appliance can generate a
significant current demand in your electrical
circuit. Therefore, it should be connected to
a separate circuit or not used simultaneously
with other appliances to avoid overload.
• Place the appliance on a clear, flat and heat-
resistant surface. Distance from the wall
should be at least 5 cm. The area above the
appliance should be kept free to allow an
unobstructed air-circulation. Never place the
appliance or power cord on hot surfaces. Nor
should the appliance be placed or operated
in the vicinity of exposed gas flames.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Do not let the cord touch
hot surfaces.
• Persons with cardiac pacemakers should
consult their doctor before using the
induction hotplate in order to rule out
possible risks.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
• If the appliance or the power cord shows
any signs of damage, do not operate it! Take
the product to an authorized and qualified
service center for inspection or repair.
• Do not place flammable material (paper,
cloth, etc.) on or near the appliance.
• This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while
it is operating.
• Do not operate this appliance with an
external timer or remote-control device.
• Do not place any metal on the unit while
operating.
• The appliance becomes hot during operation.
Therefore, be careful not to touch any of the
hot parts.
• Over-heated fats and oils can ignite. Food
prepared with oils and fats (e.g. French
Fries) should always be prepared under
supervision.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
• As long as the appliance is hot, it should be
supervised, even if it is not connected to the
mains. Nor should it be transported with a
saucepan on the hot-plate – risk of getting
burned. Allow the appliance to cool down
fully before cleaning and storing it.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• Do not collide with the nucleated glass plate.
In case of breaking, turn off the unit and
unplug from power.
• The appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach
of children less than 8 years.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the appliance is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on
the unit must only be done by authorised
specialist personnel!
