The profile of the SPIDER is supported by diagonal ribs going all the way back to the trailing edge
equalizing and distributing the pressure on the sail evenly. Cross port openings in the cell walls permit
a homogenous distribution of pressure throughout the canopy. The basic construction and design of
the SPIDER give its notable stability even in extreme situations.
Harness restriction (GH)
The DHV testing has only been carried out with harness without cross braceing. The advantage of this
system enables more feeling of the wing and better pilot imput.
The Zipper
With the Zipper you can adapt the surface area of your Twix to the weights of you and your
passenger for optimum adjustment of wing load. Thanks to the ability to zip away 3 cells you have the
choice between 32 or 36 m
2
area projected and can fly light or heavy passengers with a safe wing
loading and speed.
As the Twix with zipper closed can also be used as a solo wing it also the ideal paraglider for heavy
pilots and paramotor pilots.
The Twix meets the criteria of DHV 1-2 for both sizes. The following graph shows an overwiev of the
