Wiring the Signaling Line Circuit
The MS-9200 communicates with addressable initiating, monitor and control devices through a Signaling Line Cir-
cuit (SLC) loop, which can be wired to meet NFPA requirements for Style 4, Style 6 or Style 7.
2.7.1 Device Capacity
The capacity of the MS-9200 includes up to 99 addressable detectors and an additional combination of up to 99
addressable pull stations, control modules and monitor modules.

2.7.2 Surge Suppression
Surge protection for the SLC may be provided by using one of the UL listed compatible surge suppressors listed in
the Fire•Lite Device Compatibility Document.
The SLC is allowed to leave the building only with the use of a UL
listed surge suppressor.
