Troubleshooting the Fiery X2
Cannot connect to Fiery X2 with Fiery client utilities
If clients cannot connect to the Fiery X2, check the following:
• Fiery X2 Setup—the appropriate network protocol must be enabled, with the cor-
rect parameters (for example, for TCP/IP, the IP address, etc.; for IPX/SPX,
a correct frame type setting).
Verify that in IPX/SPX Setup the IPX network protocol has bound to all the frame
types in use by the NetWare servers that handle Fiery X2 print jobs.
You can check these settings quickly by printing a Configuration Page.
• On the client workstation—the appropriate network protocol(s) must be loaded,
and your Windows directory should contain a configured Efinl.ini file.
