CAN interface
This interface is implemented by means of an 8-
pin RJ45 plug. It’s electrically isolated from the device’s
supply voltage.

Based on the overall bus structure, check to determine whether or not an
external terminating resistor is required. As a rule, these terminating resistors
are located at the beginning and the end of the bus cable.

Use a twisted 2-wire cable with shield for the CANopen bus.
Note
Faulty installation and high transmission rates may cause data transmission errors as
a result of signal reflections and signal attenuation. Transmission errors can be
caused by:

Missing terminating resistor between CAN_L (pin 2) and CAN_H (pin 1)

Faulty shield connection
–
Branches
–
Large distances
–
Unsuitable cables
