NFC
The integrated NFC module (
n
ear
f
ield
c
ommunication) makes it possible to configu
re the device’s
parameters for the application. Data are stored to 512 bytes of retentive memory. Write/read access to this
memory is also possible for CODESYS.
The NFC antenna of the CPS Gate is located on top of the device and is identified. The mobile device should
be moved in to a distance of no greater than 10 cm in order to permit communication. If necessary, the
mounting position of the external device’s NFC antenna has to be determined with the help of the technical
documentation.

Mode selector
The switch has 3 positions:
RUN
STOP
RESET
The mode selector can be used to:

Control operation of IEC applications
•
Enter settings to the device
•
Trigger resetting of the device
