Assembly & Disassembly
Important
Do not use the lift unless both hex head bolts
are in place and tightened properly.
ATTACHING THE MAST AND LIFT BOOM
Before attaching the mast and lift boom, extend and lock
the legs for stability. Use additional help as needed to
steady the mast and boom as you secure it to the base.
1. Position the mast with the actuator and lift boom
facing the front of the lift (toward the legs).
2. Slide the bottom of the mast into the base sleeve.
3. Insert the two hex head bolts (provided) into the
holes in the base sleeve and mast and tighten them
with a 9/16" wrench (Figure 3).
4. Remove the quick-release pin from the midpoint
casting (Figure 4).
5. Raise the lift boom away from the mast.
6. Support the lift boom while positioning the end
of the actuator in the midpoint casting (Figure 4).
7. Secure the actuator to the lift boom by inserting
the quick-release pin through the casting and
actuator.
8. Make sure the pin is locked in place.
ATTACHING THE SPREADER-BAR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the quick-release pin from the end of the
lift boom.
Use additional help as needed to hold the spreader-
bar assembly in place while completing Step 2.
2. Position the spreader-bar assembly post in the end
of the lift boom and secure with the quick-release
pin (Figure 5).
