Auxiliary Panel Mode (PnL)
In Auxiliary Panel Mode
‘PnL
’ the verifier carries out two of the panel’s available functions.
•
Call
: allows a call be made to one of the telephones/monitors in the system:
- Whilst in auxiliary panel mode
’PnL’
enter the address of the telephone/monitor to be called using the keys
and
.
- Press the INTRO key to make the call (a call will be made as if it were a main panel).
The verifier leds flash to inform you that the command has been sent.
After two seconds, allowing time for the call tone to be heard on the telephone/monitor, it will be reset, as the
telephone/monitor does not have audio or video (the verifier only operates on a data basis).
•
Programmer:
if whilst in
‘PnL’
mode a programming request is received from a telephone/monitor, the green
‘OK’
led lights up. If at this time an address is entered and confirmed using the keys
and
the verifier will
assign this address to the terminal.
To operate in this way, a system panel must be installed.
Spy mode (SPY)
In
SPY
mode, the verifier receives any data circulating through the BUS2 or any user commands ( making a call,
opening a door, etc) and shows it on the display in the following manner:
•
Three letters
of each command are shown,
which identify the command, followed by
a number,
which
identifies who sent it and who it has been sent to.
These two values alternate three times and then show the word
SPY again.
