* Description of generic connection terminals for BUS2 terminals:
The BUS2 apartment terminals (monitors/telephones) are fitted with connectors which are installed in the apartment
to connect the apartment terminal to the system.
Depending on the apartment terminal model, the connector format will vary, not the main connection terminals (Bin, Bout,
F1, F2, CT, T,...), so that the cabling for the various terminals is carried out following the same connection diagram.

Termination
jumpers
- Connectors with a single switch:
When there is only one terminal per distributor output, turn the JP2 switch to the position ‘NO TERM’.
If there are two terminals per distributor output (two apartment terminals), the switch should be positioned
at ‘TERM’ on both terminals.
- Connectors with two switches:
JP1 and JP2 (these connectors enable cascade and distribution systems)
· Distribution system:
JP1: Turn JP1 switch to position ‘NO TERM’ on all monitors.
JP2: When there is only one terminal per distributor output, turn the JP2 switch to the position ‘NO TERM’.
If there are two terminals per distributor output (two apartment terminals), the JP2 switch should be
positioned at ‘TERM’ on both terminals.
· In cascade systems:
JP1: Turn JP1 switch to the position ‘NO TERM’ on the first floor and intermediate floor monitors and turn
the JP1 switch to ‘TERM’ on the last screen (last floor).
JP2:
When there is only one terminal per distributor output, turn the JP2 switch to the position ‘NO TERM’.
If there are two terminals per distributor output (two apartment terminals), the JP2 switch should be
positioned at ‘TERM’ on both terminals.
