The ‘BUS2 Repeater’ amplifies the BUS2 signal and as a result increases the distance covered by the system and the
number of terminals (up to a maximum of 199 terminals).

A repeater is needed where the following exist:
- Distance greater than 100 metres.
- Branches with more than 64 residential terminals (up to a maximum of 199 terminals on the system).
- Maximum number of repeaters in a series: 3

The BUS2 Repeater can be installed on the system backbone(s).
It is recommended that you install it before signal losses are considerable, that is before the system reaches its
limit in terms of number of terminals or distances.
