The green ‘OK’ LED lights up to confirm that the option has been selected.
Pressing the key
whilst in either of these options brings you back to the previous option.

AUT Operating Mode:
- Select AUT mode and press the following key

The display shows the letter

indicating that the first address must be entered.
- Press the keys

to select the first address from the range of addresses to be verified.

to confirm.

indicating that the final address must be entered.
- Press the keys

to select the final address
- Press the key
to confirm.
The verifier automatically verifies all the addresses from
A
to
B,
inclusive.
When the test is finished, the display will show the first address and you can navigate through the rest of the
addresses tested using the keys
and
.
For each address the red and green leds indicate if the test is correct or incorrect.
If the key
is pressed for an address, a call is made to the telephone/monitor with this address to verify the
result .
Automatic mode (AUT)
In automatic mode
‘AUT’
, the data status of the telephone/monitors in the BUS2 system is verified.
To this end, the verifier sends a test command to the range of telephone/monitor addresses selected and awaits a
response from each address. This means that:
•
if the telephone is switched off, the address will be stated as erroneous.
•
if there are two telephones/monitors with the same address, the address will only be stated as erroneous if
both telephones/monitors fail to answer.
•
if there is one address within a range that is not programmed there will be no answer and an error will be
reflected.
