Use a shielded motor cable in order to guarantee error-free operation of the
controller. In addition, no other conductors except the motor connection may be
included in this line.
In the case of drive units with an electronic brake, ensure that the brake is equipped
with adequate suppression. We recommend the use of RC-elements for interference
suppression purposes.
We recommend for a motor cable length of approx. 15 m the usage of a motor cable of a
leakage capacitance (wire/shield) of up to or less than 150 pF/m. The RCD 30 mA Typ B
may nevertheless be triggered. In this cases we recommend the usage of a 300 mA Typ
B/B+ RCD or to change the switching frequency to a suitable fixed frequency of the door
controller with the parameter P.160. The optimum setting can be determined by
measuring the leakage current. The switching frequency with the lowest leakage current
must be set.
