FRAME MOUNTING
Locate an area to mount the frame. Considerations should be: access to the fresh water
flush cartridge, access to the oil drain line and if possible, an additional 40” on one
side of the pressure vessels for membrane replacement. Allow at least two (2) feet of
clearance in front of the machine to allow an operator to use the system controls.
Place the entire system on the platform or shelf the unit is to be installed. Trace
around the four shock mounts, or inside the 1/4” mounting holes on the shock
mounts. Remove the frame from the shelf. Remove the stainless mounting brackets
located on the side of the frame in four (4) locations. Following the traced mount
outline or the hole location marks mount the shock mounts on the shelf with the
L of the bracket facing away from each other. 1/4” lag bolts or through bolts with
backing nuts will work fine. Be sure to use all mounting holes. Replace the frame
on the mounts and secure with the bolts previously removed. Because the mounts
are rubber you will be able to bend them out of the way enough to allow you to
position the frame in place. Allow the frame to rest on the white spacers.
The pressure vessels and fresh‑water‑flush assemblies can be removed and mounted
remotely if space is an issue. Special mounting fittings are required for the pressure
vessels, please consult your dealer or FCI Watermakers directly. The mounting
bracket for the fresh‑water‑flush assembly is designed to accommodate a remote
installation. Additional tubing and high‑pressure hose will be required.

SYSTEM INSTALLATION / MOUNTING
Please refer to the appropriate footprint and layout diagrams from
"DIMENSIONS & FOOTPRINT" on page 32 to page 40.
All components should be mounted as close to each other as
possible while still allowing easy access for service and operating
adjustments. Try to avoid elbows in the plumbing whenever possible
and make hose connections as straight and as clean as possible.
