LED
Failure conditions
SPK
The LED is flashing (50%)
During the test, an impedance value 30% lower than the one acquired during installation one is detected.
The LED flashes briefly every 2”
Failure has been detected and isolated on the SPEAKER LINE ‘A’.
The LED flashes briefly twice every 2”
Failure has been detected and isolated on the SPEAKER LINE ‘B’.
The LED flashes three times every 2”
Failures have been detected and isolated on both lines.
The LED is ON (steady)
During the test, an impedance value 30% higher than the one acquired during installation one is detected.
GND
The LED is flashing
This indicates a lack of insulation between the loudspeakers line and earth.
AMP
The LED lights up
This indicates a failure of the amplifier.
It must in any case be kept in mind that in the absence of failures, the LED’s on the front panel of the amplifier act as VU-METERs.
If there is at least one failure, the VU-METER function is quit, and the LED’s will indicate the failure that has been detected.

Selecting inputs
The amplifier has two inputs, AUDIO 1 and 2. It is possible to select the input of the amplifier by means of serial communications or by means
of a remote switch. To do this, it is necessary to connect a switch between pins 3 and 6 of one of the two ‘IN/OUT’ RJ45 connectors (
13
).
This connection is used to select AUDIO input 2: switching as stated has priority over the setting, if any, via serial communication. If the connection
between pins 3 and 6 is left open, AUDIO input 1 is selected.
•
‘LOW CUT’ Filter
For the purpose of improving the speech intelligibility, it is possible to choose to include a filter for the bass tones. This filter is highly recommended
when horn-speakers are used. Again in this case the user will have to use the dip switches to activate the function.
B) ‘REMOTE CONTROL’ mode
For management via a remote control, reference should be made to the documentation concerning the software being used.
On switching on the equipment for the first time, the address will be equal to 1 (factory setting)
.

Address assignment
To change this address, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the amplifier.
2. Place levers
1
and
2
in the
ON
position; use levers
3
to
8
to set the
desired address (from 0 to 63), on the basis of the
Configuration Tables
(page 26).
3. Switch the amplifier back on, wait for about two seconds then check that
the green ‘
OK
’ LED lights up.
4. Return lever
1
to the
OFF
position: the ‘
OK
’ LED will extinguish.

5. Return all the other levers to the
OFF
position.
