NOTICE!
Exhausted batteries (batteries with formation of sul-
phate on the plates) are not covered under warranty!
Open the engine hood and remove the covering
Remove the battery
Fig. 142 and clean the battery com-
partment.
Clean the outside of the battery.
Clean battery poles and pole clamps and grease them with
pole grease (Vaseline).
Check the fastening of the battery.
On serviceable batteries check the acid level, if necessary
top up to the filling mark with distilled water.
6.8.5 Service the air conditioning
Optional equipment
WARNING!
Danger of accident!
Do not clean with a hot water jet. Heat will cause
extreme overpressure, which could cause damage or
explosion of the system.
Use access steps and grips to mount and dismount the
machine.
NOTICE!
A soiled condenser results in a considerable reduction
of air conditioning power.
Under extremely dusty conditions it may be necessary
to clean the condenser several times per day.
If, during operation of the air conditioning system, the
warning buzzer sounds switch the air conditioning off
and clean the condenser.
In case of formation of foam have the air conditioning
system inspected by the service department.
