8.10.7  Changing the oil in the bevel gear housing

– Use only gear oil of the permitted

specification

1.

Clean the area around the drain plug and

the oil level inspection plug.

2.

Unscrew the oil drain screw and collect any

oil running out.

3.

Screw the drain plug back in.

4.

Clean the area around the oil level inspec-

tion plug.

5.

Unscrew the oil level inspection plug.

6.

Fill with new oil through the oil level inspec-

tion plug, until the oil level reaches the

bottom edge of the bore.

7.

Screw the oil level inspection plug back in

tightly.

8.

Dispose of oil in an environmentally friendly

way.
