Bleeding the fuel system

Protective equip-

ment:

Working clothes

Protective gloves

1.

Unscrew the bleed screw (1) on the fuel

filter and fuel pre-filter 2 to 3 turns.

2.

Hold the ignition key in position “I” until

clean fuel starts to run out at the bleed

screws.

3.

Tighten the bleed screws.

4.

Start the engine and run it for 5 minutes at

idle speed.

5.

Shut down the engine and check the fuel

filter and fuel pre-filter for leaks.

Replacing the V-belt

Perform this maintenance work at

the latest after two years.
