PANEL
02
REPEATER PANEL
Power
supply
: 12 Vdc or Vac (min. 10 Vdc, max. 16 Vdc). Fed onto the connector’s two external poles
without any need to worry about polarity. Energy consumption: 0.9 Amp with the lights turned off, 4.5 A
max. To save on energy consumption, the intensity of the white lights drops off to one-third some thirty
seconds after the lights have been turned on. Fuse: 6.3 A F, placed in the back. Comes complete with a
feed cable and clips for connection to an automobile battery and a connector for possible use in fashioning
a customized cable. Connect the DATA LINE outlet on the back with any of the three similar outlets located
on the apparatus itself. (Likewise suppied are two extension cords 2.5 m. and 15 m. in length, but extension
cords of up to 100 m. in length may be requested).
The opportunity to connect several panels to the same piece of equipment offers the advantage of making it
easy to place the display panels on walls or ceilings close to the public and even to set up bi-facial panels
back-to-back. In the latter instance, a special switch found on the back (DISPLAY: INVERTED - NORMAL)
makes it possible to turn all the display screens around so that they will be alike on the same side (including
the coloured lights).
The panel provides viewing from 25 to 40 m. (or approx. 28 to 44 yards): white, red and green lights --
counter-thrusts -- timer -- yellow and red cards -- yellow lights -- priorité -- matches.
PANEL 02 comes with holes so situated as to allow the panel to be hung on walls or ceilings, and it is also
equipped with two supports (high and low) for positioning the panel atop a table. When the high support is
used, be certain that it is firmly attached to the table by means of the clamps supplied.

TELE-FULL-ARM
REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE
Power
supply
: 9-Volt alkaline battery, with a working life of about 150,000 operations. To replace the
battery, loosen the two screws at the bottom. We recommend that use be made only of alkaline batteries
inasmuch as their life span is about four times that of the usual zinc-carbon battery.
The remote control operates on infrared rays, so it must be pointed toward the receiver (found on the front
of the apparatus). Whatever the case, we recommend use of an external receiver that may be positioned
wherever you wish and which will assure excellent reception at 180 degrees.
To “tune in” any remote control device to any piece of equipment, see the description given above for the
TELECOM. ACQUIS. key on the FULL-ARM 03.
The TELE-FULL-ARM remote control device, whose 18 keys correspond in colour and designation to keys
on the FULL-ARM 03, makes possible complete control of that apparatus. In addition, the BLOCK key
allows a “blocking” and “unblocking” of the apparatus so as to prevent it from being used at given times.
There are, therefore, two types of interruption: BLOCK 1, with which only the use of weapons remains
activated (thus allowing the fencers to practice); and BLOCK 2, with which all the keys on the machine are
de-activated. The blocking status is shown on the machine’s LCD display terminal.
In the event that the remote control device is lost or misplaced while the BLOCK 2 function is in effect,
unblocking can be achieved only by opening up the equipment: loosen the four screws on the bottom and
then push the small button found in the corner of the card near the large, square integrated circuit.

EXTERNAL
RECEIVER
FOR USE WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE
This item is connected -- only through use of the special cable provided -- to the RÉCEPT. TÉLÉCOM. EXT.
outlet found on the back of the FULL-ARM 03 apparatus. This operation is to be carried out with the
apparatus turned off. The inner portion of the EXTERNAL RECEIVER consists of two sensors so directed
as to provide reception at 180 degrees.
The receiver may be placed either over the PANEL 2 scoreboard, through use of a special pole to be
inserted in the framework hole, or off by itself where it may prove to be more practical. An extension cord
15m. in length may be requested in order to position the receiver far from the apparatus (e.g., at the side of
the fencing platform).
See the description given above for the TELECOM. ACQUIS. key on the FULL-ARM O3 in relation to the
purchase of a new remote control device.

EXTERNAL
BUZZER
(SUPPLEMENTARY)
Comes equipped with a cord 15 m. in length. All you have to do is connect this cord to the
BUZZ.
EXT.
(External Buzzer) outlet on the FULL-ARM O3 apparatus.
