DISASSEMBLY

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

3 mm screwdriver.
-
30/40 W soldering iron.
-
8 and 10 mm wrenches.

Miniature lamp extractor.

Separator tool T5746F HARWIN.

DISASSEMBLY (See IPL, figure 1)

MATERIALS AND SUBSTANCES, WHICH MAY BE INJURIOUS TO HEALTH,
MUST BE OBSERVED. PRECAUTIONS REGARDING THE HANDLING OF
ELECTROSTATIC SENSITIVE DEVICES ARE APPLICABLE.
CAUTION: THE WORK SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT IN A CLEAN DUST-FREE
ATMOSPHERE AND THE WORKBENCH, COMPONENTS AND TOOLS MUST BE
KEPT CLEAN.
CAUTION: DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ADJACENT COMPONENTS OR THE WIRING
DURING THE SOLDER WORK. DO NOT APPLY HEAT LONGER THAN
NECESSARY.
A.
Removing the casing
To remove casing (30), remove 4 screws (40) and 4 screws (50) and then slide the casing off
backwards.
B.
Removing "Power supply" PC board (190)

Remove 4 screws (200) and associated washers (210).

Mark and unsolder the connecting wires from PC board (190).
C.
Removing "Display" PC board (400)
-
Remove 4 screws (410) and associated washers (420) and free the assembly consisting of
"Display" PC board (400) and "Logic" PC board (240) from face panel (130).

Separate "Display" PC board (400) from "Logic" PC board (240) by removing
4 screws (280) and associated washers (290).
