Install face panel (130) on support plate (580) and fit 4 screws (110). Install knob (70), not
forgetting the filters.

Installing battery (See IPL, figure 4)

Before Amendment D

Install the battery (120) on the support (110).

Install the leafspring (30) on the spacers (60) inserting the terminal lug (70).

Attach with two screws (40) and washers (50).

Solder the connecting wire on the contact (80).

After Amendment D
-
Install the battery subassembly (124) on the support (127).

Attach with two screws (125) and lock washers (126).
-
Tighten to torque of 20 cN.m
0.5 cN.m (1.770 lb.in
0.044 lb.in).

Connect the male micronector of the battery (124) to the female micronector (122).

Engrave the battery validity on the new instruction plate given with the battery subassembly
(124).

Replace the old instruction plate (25, IPL figure 1) on the box (30, IPL figure 1) by the new
one.

Installing "Logic" PC board (240)
Install the PC board, fitted with its edge-lighting lamps and battery, on "Display" PC board (400)
using 4 screws (250) fitted with washers (260) and spacers (270).
Solder the PC board connecting wires.
Tilt the assembly made up of "Display" PC board (400) and "Logic" PC board (240) and insert in
face panel (130).
Install 4 screws (410), fitted with washers (420) into both corner plates (350) and both brackets
(560).

Installing "Display" PC board (400)
Install the PC board, fitted with its display units and edge-lighting lamp, on "Logic" board (240)
using 4 screws (280) fitted with washers (290).
Solder the PC board connecting wires.
Tilt the assembly made up of "Display" PC board (400) and "Logic" PC board (240) and insert in
face panel (130).
