Chapter 2: Setting up the Quantum

Unpacking the System 

The Quantum is packed in a shipping case which includes space for the Cables, 
Probes, and mounting hardware.

Lifting the Quantum 

Follow safe lifting procedures when removing the Quantum from its storage 
case. Always use safe lifting procedures when placing the Quantum on, or 
removing the Quantum from, the tripod. 
•

While in the case, lift Tube 2 and rotate it to place it onto Tube 1. 

•

Reach under and grab the Quantum by Tube 1 and the base handle to remove 
it from the case.
