MOUNTING THE CRANE TO
A TRACTOR (THREE-POINT
LINKAGE)
Exercise extreme caution when
mounting or demounting a crane.
Tipping hazard!
When the crane is in its storage position (supported
by the support legs and boom assembly), mount the crane
to a tractor according to the following instructions.
1.
Back up the tractor carefully until the lower link arms are
lined up with the brackets in the support leg frame.
2. Install the control valve or levers in the tractor
cab. Use the control valve lifter (accessory).
3. Connect the crane pressure and return hoses to the trac-
tor hydraulics. Follow the tractor manufacturer's
instructions.
4. Install the journals and pins in the support leg frame brac-
kets.
5. Mount the top link arm. Using the tractor link arms to
mount the top link is prohibited. The top link must
be mounted by adjusting its length.
6.
If the tractor lower link arms are too high, do the follo
-
wing: Ensure that no personnel are between the trac
-
tor and crane. Climb into the tractor cab and lower
both support legs carefully until the crane rises to
the right height. Exercise extreme caution - the crane
is not coupled to the tractor's three-point linkage!
Never operate the crane valve from anywhere else
than the cab,
7.
Lock the lower link arms stabilizers.
Ensure that the pressure and return
hose is connected correctly.
LEC CONTROL VALVE
INSTALLATION
1. Ensure that the valve mounting plate is straight. The
control valve must be mounted on the plate securely
enough to withstand the strain of moving over rough
terrain and remain firmly in place when being used.
2. If possible, install the control valve in its dedicated
housing or inside the tractor, so that the levers can be
operated with the rear window closed.
3. Pay attention to the protection of the levers.
The levers must be protected so that they are not
inadvertently moved.
The control valve mounting rack has
a label showing the minimum safety
distances to live power lines. This
label must be kept fully visible to the
crane's operator.
