TEST RUN
The crane operator must know the functions of the crane.
Read the instruction manual before making a test run.
1. Ensure that there are no personnel or obstacles in the
operating area. The danger area radius is 20 m.
2.
The test run ground must be level and firm.
3. Ensure that the control valve levers are in their centre
positions (neutral).
4.
Connect the flow to the crane. Let the oil circulate
through the valve for a few minutes.
5.
Lower the support legs.
6. Test the crane movements one cylinder at a time, running
them carefully to their full extensions and back again
until the movements are smooth.
7. Check and, if necessary, repair any leaking couplings after
the test run.
8.
Check and, if necessary, tighten the mounting screws on
the crane and support leg frame.
9.
Check the hydraulic oil level and, if necessary, refill.
Even though the crane is factory-
tested, there may still be air in the
cylinders. The cylinders must be bled
carefully. If a cylinder is run quickly
out to its full extension, the air pres-
sure inside the cylinder will damage
the gaskets.
