STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Clean and, if necessary, repair damaged paint sur-
faces.
2. Clean and dry the hoses.
3. Lubricate the equipment thoroughly (see Lubrication
instructions).
4. Depressurise the cylinders.
5.
Cover the control valve with plastic or waterproof fabric
to protect it from the weather.
6. Give special consideration to the storage of the control
valve to ensure that unauthorised personnel, such as
children, cannot reach them.
7. Protect the cylinder piston rods and visible spindles on
the control valve with grease.
8. Store in a sheltered place on tracks - not directly on the
ground.
9. When using the crane the next time, remove any
protective grease from the cylinder piston rods and
control valve spindles.
DEMOUNTING THE CRANE FROM
THE THREE-POINT LINKAGE
1. Position the crane on a level, hard surface. Ensure that the
machine remains firmly in place during operation.
2.
Make sure that there are no personnel within the de
-
mounting area and the storage site will not pose a
danger to others.
3.
First, lower the tractor lower link arms all the way
down. Then, lower the support legs and place the
crane on the ground to rest on its support legs.
4. Rotate the boom assembly straight back.
5.
Lower the boom end to the ground. The grapple should
be turned onto its side. Ensure that the hoses do not
get caught between moving parts.
6.
Remove the lower link arms and raise the support
legs. Lower the crane to the ground onto the support
leg frame.
7. If necessary, use beams to provide additional support for
the crane (see figure).
8.
Turn off the tractor's hydraulic outlet.
9. Disconnect the crane's hydraulic hoses from the trac-
tor. Cover the control valve quick couplings.
10. Disconnect the electrics.
11. Disconnect the LEC control valve from the tractor
and fasten it to its designated mount on the crane.
Use the control valve lifter (accessory). If you have
HPC valve, detach the joysticks. If you have EHC
valve, unplug it.
12. Ensure that the hydraulic hoses are not caught on
the tractor.
13. Disconnect the top link arm.
14.
Drive the tractor carefully forward.
