Assembly - Backsaver Auger 12112 / 12122

Installing The Axle Risers

Figure 76

Install a strap (Item 1) through the axle riser (Item 2)

[Figure 76]

as shown.

Connect the strap to an approved lifting device.

Raise and move the axle riser to the assembly area.

Figure 77

Position the axle riser (Item 1) at the back of the axle.
Move the axle riser back (towards the intake end) against
the mounting plate (Item 2)

on the axle. Then

lower the axle riser down onto the axle.

Install five 5/8”-11UNC x 4-1/2” bolts (Item 3)

[Figure 77]

through the axle riser and mounting plate on the axle.
Install 5/8” lock nuts on the bolts and tighten.

Repeat the procedure for the remaining axle riser.

Installing The STOP LIFT Sign

Position the STOP LIFT sign (Item 1)

and

mounting bracket on the first vertical support on the left
side of the top truss tube weldment.

When installing the STOP LIFT sign, verify that the trip
lever (Item 2)

[Figure 78]

is approximately 1-1/2” above

the frame of top truss tube weldment.

With the trip lever approximately 1-1/2” above the frame
of top truss tube weldment, install four 3/8” x 3” bolts
(Item 1) through the mounting bracket (Item 2) and the
two flat straps (Item 3)

NOTE: Maintain approximately 1-1/2” between trip
