6.6 Adjustment items and method
6.6.1 Adjustment of configuration
In aquafeed production, the configuration of screw could be changed according to the formula and
the requirements of finished products.
Do the following items at configuration adjustment:
First, cut off the power and place the warning sign of
“Maintenance in progress” on the
electric cabinet to prevent accidents caused by unauthorized operations of the other
personnel.
No heavy knock during dismantling. When the screw head is hard to be off, use copper
rod without damage to the screw.
For installation of the screw head, do clean the main shaft and screw head. In order to
ensure the smooth disassembling of the screw for configuration replacement next time,
apply food-grade high-temperature rating (temperature higher than 180
℃
) lubricant
grease onto the main shaft.
The parts and components not in use for some time shall be cleaned, coated with
grease and placed under dry environment.
