Gated Sound
With the parameters HOLD and DECAY you can create "gated sounds" (e.g. gated snare). To do this,
set the HOLD value to the desired length of time and the DECAY time value very short.
Loops
The Fame Hybrid Pro can play loops in different playback modes. The loops can be assigned to any
drum channel like a normal Fame sound and can be started and stopped by pad. You can also create
your own loops. Conventional WAV files (e.g. from loop libraries) can be converted into the usual
FAME file format using the Fame Sound Editor. The editor is available as a free download at
When creating your own loops, make sure that the (bar) length of the WAVE file is correct. Otherwise
the loop will not be played correctly.
Loops can also be changed in tempo via
TUNE
←
on the DRUM page in the SOUND menu.
Please note that the pitch also changes. The TRIG button can also be used for monitoring loops.
However, only one second of the loop is played back. If you want to hear the entire loop, you must
hold the button down for half a second. To pause the loop again, press the button again for half a
second.
