Filling the chamber with water (in Bain Marie pots)

Pots with automatic filling of the Bain Marie chamber (M-G910 BM and M-G915 BM):
o
The control of the water level in the chamber is automatic.
o
The heating is switched on when the water reaches the minimum level in the chamber.
o
The pots have a pressure switch for controlling the pressure inside the Bain Marie
chamber. If the pressure exceeds the configured value, the heating stops, saving water
and energy.
•
Pot with automatic filling of the Bain Marie chamber (M-G910 BM C and M-G915 BM C):
o
Open the Bain Marie chamber water level tap.
o
Open the Bain Marie chamber water fill tap.
o
When water starts to come out through the level tap, first close the filler tap and then the
level tap.
5.2.7
Tub drainage
The pot has a drainage tap on the front panel. To drain the pot, open the tap.
5.2.8
Pressure model
a) The big advantage is the speed and quality of the cooking.
b) When the food is inside, close the lid with the four locking flanges.
c) The burners turn on.
d) The start of cooking is observed when steam comes out of the safety valve.
e) When the cooking pot has reached the operating pressure (30 g/cm 2) part A (centre body) will have started to
rotate and lift.

To remove the lid, switch off the burners. When the steam has stopped escaping, loosen and move the flanges.
5.3
Useful tips
Read the useful tips listed below carefully in order to get the most out of your cooking pot.
5.3.1
Initial cleaning
After installing the appliance, and before using to cook food, it is necessary to fill it with soapy water,
which should be left to boil for a few minutes.
Next, empty the tub and rinse it as many times as necessary, to eliminate the remains of soap.
Lastly, dry the vat.
5.3.2
Maintenance
FAGOR INDUSTRIAL recommends a service of all the operating components of the cooking pot at
least once a year to check their condition and the correct operation of the appliance. This service
must be carried out by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE.
The replacement of any functional component that may affect the safety of either the appliance or
the user should be performed by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE,
using the appropriate original spare parts.
Always clean the machine correctly to prolong the service life of the machine.
•
Remove any waste from the machine at the end of each day.
•
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or acid products, chlorine-based detergents, solvents or
petrol derivatives to clean the machine.
•
Do not use pressurised water to clean the machine.
•
The pressure and safety valves in the Bain Marie models must be kept clean.
