Remote modules.
Remote modules may be used to have extra resources (see table below) distributed at
different locations of the machine or installed in the electrical cabinet. The remote modules
are distributed by groups (nodes) and are connected to the central unit through the CANfagor
bus (RIO70 series), CANopen bus (RIO5 and RIOW series) or Sercos bus (RCS-S module).
When the CNC works with CANopen bus, this bus lets combine in the bus groups (nodes)
formed by RIO5 and RIOW series modules; modules of both series cannot be combined in
the same group.
