5.6 Brakes
V-brakes.
Powerful brakes that are mounted on both sides of the fork. Brake pads installation and
adjustment: check to determine where the pads come into contact with the wheel rim. Avoid any contact
with the tire. Adjust the height or location if necessary. Tighten the nut, keeping the tightening torque within
7-9 Nm. Adjust the brake cable until there is a distance of 1.5 mm between the right/left pad and the wheel
rim. Adjust and secure the cable with the brake arm fixing screw using a wrench. The tightening torque
should be 6-8 Nm. Cut off the excess cable and attach the cap.
Using a Phillips-type screwdriver, turn the small adjusting screw to increase or decrease the spring tension.
Clockwise to increase tension, counterclockwise to decrease tension. This allows you to center the brake
arms relative to the wheel rim.

Disk brakes.
Disc brakes are a steel disc located on the bicycle wheel sleeve, usually on the left side, and a
device that presses the pads.
Disc brakes are distinguished by their excellent braking performance and good resistance to bad weather.
They react much more powerfully than V-brakes in wet conditions. They also do not require much
maintenance and do not wear the rims like V-brakes. However, disc brakes tend to be noisy if wet or dirty.
With mechanical disc brakes, the range of motion of the brake lever increases with the wear of the brake
pads, which requires regular adjustment of the brakes. To adjust the range of motion of the lever, use a small
screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw located in the lever adjustment box.
Hydraulic disc brakes are equipped with a mechanism that automatically compensates for wear. To adjust
the range of motion of the lever, use a small screwdriver to turn the adjusting screw located in the box.
New brake discs must be "bedded-in" before they can achieve optimum braking performance.
Disc brakes heat up when braking, do not touch the disc or arms, especially immediately after use.
If there is no resistance when pressing the brake lever, stop using the motor immediately and
contact us.
Use only alcohol-based or special products to clean the brake pads and discs
.
Leaking connections and brake pipes significantly impair braking performance. Leaking brake fluid
can also be dangerous to your health and is harmful to other materials and the paint.
All disc brake repairs must be carried out by a specialist.
Check the position and wear of your brakes regularly and take the necessary measures.
5.7 Tire pressure
Inflate to the correct pressure. Driving with improperly inflated tires has a negative effect on performance
and leads to premature wear and tear, which can cause rims damage. The pressure is displayed on the side
of the tire.
Our bikes are mainly equipped with AV-type valves. If you use tires with a Sclaverand valve type, you must
remove the cap and turn the small upper nut before inflating. Then close the top nut.
