by authorized service center, that have the proper tools and
expertise.
POWER CORD
To avoid shock or fire hazard, if the power cord is
worm or cut, or damaged in any way, have it re
-
place immediately.
Electrical connection cables often suffer insula
-
tion damage. Possible causes are:
1. Punch points when connection cables are run
through window or door gaps.
2.
Kinks resulting from incorrect attachment or
laying of the connection cable.
3.
Cuts resulting from running over the connect
-
ing cable.
4.
Insulation damage resulting from forcefully
pulling out of the wall socket.
5. Cracks through aging of insulation.
Such defective electrical connection cables must
not be used as the insulation damage makes them
extremely hazardous.
PUMP OIL
From time to time, check the oil level in the high
pressure pump by means of the sight glass (Fig.
14.A) or the dipstick (Fig. 14.B). If the oil has a
milky appearance, call the technical service cen
-
ter immediately.
Change the oil after the first 50 hours' work and
subsequently every 500 hours or once a year. To
change the oil:
1.
Remove the dipstick.
2.
Remove the drain screw (Fig. 14.C).
3.
Let all the oil drain off into a container and de
-
liver it to an authorized oil collection center.
4.
Reposition the drain screw
5.
Fill with new 15W40 oil (Fig. 15.A), until
it reaches the level indicated on the sight glass
(Fig. 15.B).
6.
Reposition the dipstick.
NOTE
For water cleaners without oil drain screw, contact
our technical service center for oil replacement.
Frequency
FUEL FILTER
Remove and replace the inline fuel filter (Fig. 16)
from time to time.
FUEL TANK
If applicable, open the drain cap (Fig. 17) and let
any impurities drain out into a container.
Flush out the tank with clean fuel and close the
drain cap.
WATER FILTER
Clean the water intake filter regularly and free it
from any impurities (Fig. 18).
NOZZLE
The high pressure nozzle fitted on the lance must
be changed from time to time, as this component
is subject to normal wear during use. Wear may
generally be detected by a drop in the working
pressure of the pressure washer. To replace it,
consult your supplier and/or dealer for instruc
-
tions.
DESCALING
Descaling must be carried out, by official service
center only, from time to time because the scale
present in the water partially deposits inside the
hydraulic circuit and the coil which with time be
-
comes clogged.
CLEANING
Use a small soft brush to clean the outside of the
unit. Do not use strong detergents. Household
cleaners that contain aromatic oils such as pine
and lemon and solvents such as kerosene can
damage plastic housing or handle. Wipe off any
moisture with a soft cloth. Remove dust and dirt
residues with an appropriate vacuum cleaner if
necessary.
STORAGE
WARNING
Turn the switch off and remove the plug from pow
-
er source outlet to store the machine. Store the unit
only in dry and well ventilated areas.
In case the unit will be stored for an extended
time, use the following storage procedure:
1. Thoroughly clean the unit and inspect for any
loose or damaged parts. Repair or replace dam
-
aged parts and tighten loose screws, nuts or
bolts.
2. Drain the fuel and water tanks and protect any
parts that could be damaged by the accumula
-
tion of dust.
3.
Grease the parts that could be damaged by dry
-
ing out, such as the supply hoses.
4. Store the unit in its original packaging.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste. Machine, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environment friendly recycling. The
plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling.
