Tools Command
ping
Description
Initiates a ping of a specified destination using the LAN or Test port and
displays the results. Refer to
on page 76 for more information.
Syntax
ping
destination_IP
[repetition
number_of_packets
| continuous]
[size
size_in_bytes
]
[ttl

[delay
value_in_ms
]
[timeout
value_in_ms
]
exit_interface
The
delay
parameter is the interval between packets.
The
exit_interface
parameter can be either
lan
or
test
and is required.
The parameters can be entered in any order. If a parameter is not
specified, the default value is used as follows:
