Dual Battery Usage Instructions
1. Manual Switch of the Dual Batteries
Users can alternately switch between battery A (Primary) and battery B
(Supplementary) via pressing Fn + F4 on the keyboard. This function provides users
with the maximum flexibility for using the dual batteries.
When only the dual batteries are connected instead of the AC adapter to supply power,
battery A discharges first, battery B will discharge automatically when battery A
completely goes through. Manual switch is unnecessary, in order to guarantee the
continuity of power supply.
2. Charge/Discharge of the Dual Batteries
When both of the dual batteries are discharged completely, please plug in the
corresponding battery connector and connect with the AC adapter; then the dual
batteries begin to charge. Battery A will charge first and the corresponding indicator
is red; when this process is completed, the indicator will turn green. Then battery B
will charge automatically instead of manual switch. Now the indicator of battery A
goes off while that of battery B turns red. Indicator of battery B turns green after the
whole charge process is completed.
3. Low Capacity Alarm
When the capacity of battery B is less than 6%, its indicator will turn red and alarm.
Users shall immediately connect with the AC adapter or power off the system to
replace a new battery when hearing the alarm.
After connecting with AC adapter, the alarm will be cleared; users can also clear the
alarm via the mute option of PC loudspeaker in the dialog box for OS volume
controlling.
