1. Baste the front sides of the fabrics face so they
each other. Sew until end of opening.
2. Fold back to the left seam allowance.
Turn under the right seam allowance to form a 3
mm fold.
3. Attach the zipper foot.
Attach the left side of the presser foot pin to the presser foot
holder when sewing the right side of the zipper, and right side
of the presser foot pin to the holder when sewing the left side
of the zipper.
4. Stitch left side of the zipper from end of opening.
Sew so that the zipper foot does not hit teeth ( ) of zipper.
5. Open the upper cloth, sew the lower end and the
right side.
On the right side, sew a distance of 0.7 - 1.0 cm from fold of
the cloth.
6. Stop about 5 cm from the top of zipper. Remove
the basting and open the zipper. Stitch the
remainder of the seam.
TO OPEN THE ZIPPER WHILE STITCHING
1. Stop stitching before you reach the slider.
2. Lower the needle and stick into fabric.
3. Raise the presser foot and open the zipper.
4. Lower the presser foot and continue stitching.
