1. Turn the hand wheel toward you until the needle
is at its highest point.
The mark ( ) of the hand wheel comes to the top.
2.
Lower the presser foot lifter.
3.
Loosen the needle clamp screw.
4. Remove the needle.
5.
Insert new needle into needle clamp with the flat
side to the back and push it up as far as it will
go.
6. Tighten the needle clamp screw.
CAUTION: Do not over-tighten with a commercial screwdriver.
CAUTION: To prevent accidents.
Do not use a bent needle or a needle with a
collapsed tip.
Before installing the needle, place the needle on a flat surface
such as a needle plate and check for any problems.
