1. Adjust slide on base according to the length of
bar-tack.
= Length of bar-tack
2. Pass upper thread through the hole of buttonhole
foot and bring upper thread to the left.
3. Position fabric under presser foot so that the
starting point comes this side.
Lower the foot.
* When you sew bar-tack on the edge of thick
fabrics such as a pocket, place some fabric of
the same thickness or a piece of cardboard
beside the fabric.

Lower the buttonhole lever completely.
NOTE:
If you do not lower the buttonhole lever properly, the monitor
lamp lights red, it sews 2 or 3 stitches and stops.
5. Hold upper thread lightly and start the machine.
6. The machine will sew bar-tack as shown.
And machine will stop automatically.
NOTE:
If you touch the tack/cut button before start sewing, machine
will cut threads automatically at the end of seam. (LCD
indicates mark)
7. Press the thread cutter button and raise the
presser foot to remove the fabric.
