8. Installation
Risk of damage! Do not use in conditions where the water can freeze.
a) Prepare Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor is designed to measure water temperature, and transmit temperature data
to the weather station.

Insert batteries and set up
The outdoor sensor is powered by two type AA batteries (not included).
• Open carefully. Hold the lid, and simultaneously turn the lower casing of the outdoor sensor
according to the “
” marking indicator

• Open the battery compartment

, and insert two type AA batteries matching polarities as
shown inside the battery compartment

. Then close the battery compartment
(H)
.
After inserting the batteries, the LCD display
(A)
turns on and the current channel
number is displayed.
• To change a channel and reset the sensor,
slide the channel selection switch
(G)
to a
channel number position (1 to 8), then press the
button
(E)
to activate that channel.
See the figure below. Channel selection is required when using more than one sensor at a
time (maximum 8)
• To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display,
press the
button
