3.0 - INSTALLATION
a. - Install the pump in a dr y place and well away from sources of heat and, in any ca se, at env ironmental tem-
peratures not exce eding 40°C. The minimum operating temperature depends on the li quid to be pumped,
bearing in mind that it must always remain in a liquid state.
b. - Carefully observe the regu lations in f orce in the va rious countries as r egards electrical installations (Fig.4).
When the supply cable i s devoid of a plug, the equipment should be connected to the supply mains by
means of a single-pole circuit breaker having a minimum distance o f 3 mm between th e contacts. Before
accessing any of the electrical parts, make sure that all the supply circuits are open.

c. - Locate the pump as shown in fig. 5 bearing in mind that it may be installed either below or abov e the level of
the liquid to be d osed, though the level difference should not exceed 2 meters. In case of liquids that genera-
te aggressive vapours, don’t install the pump above the storage tank unless the latter is ermetically sealed.
Users can modify the rpm of the motor of the peristaltic
pump
by means a potentiometer adjustable by a screwdriver supplied
in the package.
