USTOMIZING
To Control Denon and Marantz Receviers
If you have a Denon or Marantz A/V receiver with an RS-232 serial control
port, you can connect it to one of FireBall’s COM ports and have FireBall
automatically select the proper input and surround modes for each media type.

Press the SETUP key on the remote control or keyboard. The SETUP main
menu displays.

Select the menu item
audio, video, and com ports
. The menu displays.
w
Select the
surround mode settings
sub-menu item.
MP3
- select the desired surround mode to automatically select on the recevier
when MP3 media is played.
CD-Audio/WAV
- select the desired surround mode to automatically select on the
recevier when CDs or WAV media is played.
DVD-Audio/SACD
- select the desired surround mode to automatically select
on the recevier when 5.1 channel DVD-Audio or SACD media is played. You
should normally select the external input for this media type. .

Exit SETUP by selecting the EXIT menu item located at the bottom of the main
menu, or by pressing the SETUP key when on the main menu or any sub-menu.
