Frequency
Clean dirt and waste from all hydraulic components. Pressure
wash if necessary.
Check the hydraulic oil level. Add some if needed (use Shell
Tellus 32).
Check hydraulic cooler. Clean with compressed air if necessary.
Make sure there is no leakage or damage to the hydraulic
system.
Check cylinders, motors, valves, hoses and other hydraulic
components for signs of damage.
Daily
Check all hoses connections. Tighten if necessary or replace if
defective.
Weekly
Check all hydraulic hoses condition. Tighten if necessary,
replace if worn or defective. Make sure the hoses don’t touch
any moving parts.
Replace hydraulic filters and breather (the oil must be warm).
Monthly
Inspect all hydraulic and electrical components for damaged or
worn parts.
Hydraulic
System
Change hydraulic oil and clean the inside of the tank and
strainers. Use filtering unit to fill the tank (10 microns filters).
Yearly
Clean accumulated material from fingers. Pressure wash if
necessary.
Check belt tension and adjust if necessary.

Check if any Grizzly™ fingers are loose. Retighten if necessary
(see
section 4.1.1 Fingers Adjustments
).
Grease Screen Box bearings on both sides of the unit.
